Association of Immigrants is a not-for-profit organisation.
It has been formed to assist and support immigrants in Britain. The organisation’s aim is to ensure immigrants
are protected and are treated fairly and equally and to support
vulnerable immigrants against abuse. The organisation
is being promoted by its sister concern, a not-for-profit association HSMP Forum,
which has been fighting for the rights of skilled migrants in the
UK. Association of Immigrants will ensure voice of immigrants in
Britain is heard by the Government during policy and decision
making.
Association of Immigrants works for all immigrant categories and on all immigration related
issues in the UK along with its sister concern HSMP Forum. It provides a platform for immigrants to communicate and coordinate with
fellow immigrants and to be able to integrate and settle in Britain.
We are concerned over the Government's double standards by isolating
and penalising Non EU Migrants in the UK and at the same time
expecting migrants to integrate and contribute towards the economic
development of Britain. The Government has been making various
attempts to mislead British public by claiming
working non-EU migrants in Britain are able to access state benefits
and council housing
which is completely untrue. Migrants' visas include a ban on
any access to public funds. Migrants have to completely support
themselves and their families, they pay full taxes and do not
receive state benefits or support.
